Cycle With The Rhino

An annual fun-filled fundraising event meant to create awareness on environmental conservation especially the endangered rhino species. Date to be confirmed.

It is an initiative of the Lake Nakuru Park Action Committee (LNNPAC) and is currently in its 16th Edition. The Cycle with the Rhinos is a spectacular and unique sporting-cum-fundraising event that takes place in the Lake Nakuru National Park. Whether cheering/spectating or cycling, you will get to enjoy the scenery and also view game in their natural habitat. The Cycle With the Rhino event is or

ganized in collaboration with various organizations, local and international cyclists and the local business community. It’s a unique, 50km cycling race that you cannot afford to miss. The race is held annually. This year’s event shall be held at Lake Nakuru National Park. All are welcome!

Fare thee well our brother, colleague and friend George Omondi. You were a great team player. Your passion for conservation and contribution to the tourism and hospitality industry in general will be missed!

The Lake Nakuru National Park Action Committee (LNNPAC) will dearly miss you. You served faithfully as the Chair of our Marketing Sub-Committee and your role in sponsorship sales and resource mobilization for our Charity Initiatives will live long in our hearts!

We would have desired to visit your Bodi home in Nyakach - Kisumu County to enjoy fish and osuga served in an African pot as we overlook Lake Victoria but it's unfortunate that we won't live to see that day. We will sincerely miss you George. Till We Meet Again🙏

NB: Funeral arrangements and prayers currently underway at his residence in Freehold Estate, near Hotel Citymax (5:30 pm daily). The body leaves PNN Funeral Home Nakuru on Thursday 19th May 2022 for his Bodi, Nyakach home where his final burial rites will be conducted.

New year 2022 greetings family and fans. It is unfortunate that we have started the year by losing two dedicated conservationists and former board chairmen of the Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) Charles Njonjo and Richard Leakey. May their souls rest in eternal peace!!
