Development Takes Centre Stage at Kangata Tank Ground

Today I joined Residents from Ha Kangata and Mariguini areas who came together at Kangata Tank Ground for a constructive meeting focused purely on development and the progress of the community.

The meeting brought together wananchi, representatives from the Office of the MP, the MCA, and other opinion shapers and community leaders from the area. The discussions provided an opportunity to share ideas, identify key priorities, and explore practical ways of addressing the needs of the people.

Development remains a shared responsibility, and every voice matters.

Today, together with the CECM for ICT and Education and other leaders, I joined the faithful of Full Gospel Church, Macedonia Branch, in Amos to support the completion of their church construction project.

A place of worship is more than just a building it is a center of faith, hope, unity, and community transformation. I commend the congregation for their dedication and collective effort in bringing this vision to life.

May God continue to bless the work of their hands as they move closer to completing this important project.

Ecclesiastes 4 : 9.
Two are Better than One.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”

As we begin this new month, walk with Jesus. He is the best Friend, the faithful Companion, and the One who will never leave nor forsake you.

When you walk with Him, you do not face the challenges of life alone. He strengthens you when you are weak, guides you when you are uncertain, comforts you when you are discouraged, and rejoices with you in every victory.

This month, choose to walk closely with Jesus. Let Him lead your decisions, order your steps, and direct your plans. A journey with Jesus is a journey with hope, grace and victory.

Whatever this month brings, remember that you have a faithful Friend beside you.

‎I attended the burial of the late Lucy Ng'ang'a in Rongai kandutura, a young life that was tragically cut short after she was allegedly murdered by her husband.
‎
‎I strongly condemn the rising cases of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in our communities. No one deserves to lose their life at the hands of someone they trusted and loved. As a society, we must stand together to end this cycle of violence by speaking out, supporting survivors, and ensuring that perpetrators are held accountable under the law.

‎My heartfelt condolences go to Lucy's family, friends, and everyone mourning this painful loss. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
