The historic manor house dates back to the 1930s and its elegant interiors still retain many of the original features. Tea, conversation, giraffes… and impact worth raising a cup to. 💚

On 9 and 10 May, 103 Nairobi residents joined us at Giraffe Manor for fundraising breakfasts and afternoon teas in support of giraffe conservation and community projects across Kenya.

With conservation talks led by ’s Arthur Muneza and Adams Kipchumba, guests learnt more about their work protecting these gentle giants, and we discovered a few young giraffe experts in the making. Special mention to Gabriella the Giraffe Guru, whose questions kept everyone beautifully on their toes.

Together, the events raised USD 9,500, split equally between GCF’s Maasai Mara research and our Footprint Trust's conservation and community projects.

Asante sana to everyone who joined us. Your support helps us stand tall for giraffes, wildlife and local communities.
