My first year in the teaching profession, I handled a girl who swore never to forgive her mother.
Why? She decided to get married and cut off any kind of communication because she never wanted her new found love to discover about the girl.
is a topic that has killed many and yet most of us aren't willing to handle it!
Currently, we are having people who are seriously wounded in marriages, reason being, they haven't decided to sit down and find out where they missed a step.
The Bible clearly puts it that none is perfect!
My question ❓ today is? Why do you want a perfect spouse, child, parent, in-law or even neighbour?
Strong marriages aren’t built on perfection—they’re built on forgiveness and love.
In every home, there will be misunderstandings, mistakes, and moments that test your patience. But what keeps a family standing is not who is right… it’s who chooses to love anyway and forgive quickly.
Because the truth is:
💔 A home without forgiveness becomes a battlefield.
❤️ A home rooted in love becomes a safe place to heal and grow.
The foundation of our families determines everything—how our children love, how they handle pain, and how they build their own homes in the future. When we choose forgiveness, we don’t just save a marriage… we shape generations.
Funny enough, life will forever remain to be short, don't wait for perfect moments to LIVE!
So today, choose to: Let go of pride
1.Speak with kindness
2. Forgive even when it’s hard
3. Love even when it’s undeserved
Your family is your first ministry. Guard it. Build it. Nurture it.
Because when the foundation is strong, everything else stands.
