Don Chrisantos Michael Wanzala (born April 13, 1986), professionally known as
Don Santo (stylized as DON SANTO) the Badman Killa, is a Kenyan record executive, singer, rapper, writer, content producer, businessman, and entrepreneur. Santo is also a consultant on Leadership and Business in the Digital Era based in Nairobi. He is also the global leader of The Klassik Royal Nation, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global Media Ltd. Stir in spoonfuls of Afrosounds, Zouk, and Gangsta hip-hop into the country's indie music melting pot, add a dash of jazz, and a pinch of new-wave nostalgia, and you get DON SANTO. The Kalpop artist won the 2015 East African Music Awards' Artist of the Year, Song of The Year, and producer of the year (Blame It On Don). The genius of DON SANTO rests in his willingness to break from traditional formula and constantly push the envelope. He flips the method of the moment with an undeniable swagger and bold African sensibility. H.E.M DON SANTO had written many songs for various artists and done backups for many other recording artists before venturing fully into the music career in the year 2010. He has also been performing in various functions among them weddings, funerals, festivals and many other corporate functions. Considered one of the greatest entertainers of all time, the Badman Killa is regarded as one of the world's most significant cultural icons and has been a global figure in popular culture for over a decade. Famous for releasing hit singles and being a shrewd businessman, DON SANTO's many quotes have been cited by various institutions of higher learning, and public figures, among others. The Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) quoted, on the 12th of June 2021 at the 47th G7 Summit in Cornwall, DON SANTO stated that “what the world needs today are alliances that improve the lives of people by creating opportunities and not cheap public relations stunts.” He went on to say, “where I come from, we say kwa ground vitu ni different”. When asked in a past interview how he got into the music business he said, it was through the church. "I grew up in church and at the age of 4, I was given a microphone to sing the 'Twawaombea' song in church. Where the entire congregation joined in singing and dancing. Santo is also a vocal proponent of movement. During one of his "African Lion Media Tour" at Milele FM, The Don wondered why they make legal ci******es which are known to cause cancer and even tax it while a natural herb that causes no harm has resulted in police brutality and government interference at the expense of fighting the real crimes. D. THE DON OF DONS TRIAD
Authority of the Don.
1) The Don-
a) Leader of the Klassik Royal community and President of the Klassik Royal Nation;
b) Exercise the authority of the Royal Nation with the assistance of the Tribe;
c) Is a symbol of communal unity, faith, and royalty;
2) The Don shall-
a) Respect, uphold and safeguard this Creed;
b) Safeguard the royalty of the Nation;
c) Identify and Nurture talents amongst the people. d) Promote and enhance the unity of the Royal Nation;
e) Promote respect for the diversity of the people and families in the Royal Nation;
f) Ensure protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms and the Rule of law as per the host State’s Constitution. Role of the Don.
1) The Don shall-
a) Address the Klassikans;
b) Report, in an address to the Royal Nation, on all the measures taken and the progress achieved in the realization of the Klassik Royal Values and objectives;
c) Publish in the Royal Press the details of the measures and progress under paragraph b); and
d) Submit a report for debate at the Royal Council on the progress made in fulfilling the Royal Nation and Global obligations.
2) The Don shall nominate and, with the approval of the Royal Council, appoint, and may dismiss-
a) A member of the Tribe in accordance with the applicable statutes and procedures.
3) The Don shall-
a) Direct and coordinate the functions of Nation Divisions;
b) By a decision published in the Royal Press, assign responsibility for the implementation and administration of any Royal Paper to a Chief, to the extent not inconsistent with any Royal Paper.
4) The Don May-
a) Perform any other executive function provided for in this Creed or in Royal Papers. b) Receive foreign guests;
c) Confer honours in the name of the Klassik Royal people;
d) The Don shall ensure that the Royal Nation and Global obligations are fulfilled through the functions of the relevant Chiefs. Office of the Badman Killa
