Wrapping up a landmark week of data privacy sensitization!
Across 6 working days, 3,441 staff members from the State Department for Immigration and Citizen Services were sensitized on their regulatory obligations under the Data Protection Act, 2019.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PARTICIPATING SDIC STAFF:
1. Register as a data controller/processor, appoint or designate a Data Protection Officer, embed data protection by design and default.
2. Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments.
3. Document any data breaches and mitigation taken, and maintain ongoing collaboration with ODPC.
