It was refreshing to hear leaders discuss these not just as "tech trends," but as the foundational capital needed for institutional growth and inclusive digital markets. The momentum from those discussions carried us through the entire summit.

A powerful recap from the Women & Technology session at Connected Africa Summit 2026.

Centered on the theme topic, “Designing In, Not Adding On: Building Africa's Digital Economy With Women From The Start,” the discussion explored what it truly means to build inclusive digital systems from the ground up.
