The rehabilitation and spot improvement of the Kahaini–Kaburugi–Kiranga Road in Kandara Constituency, Murang'a County, is advancing this vision by upgrading the route from a seasonal murram road to an all-weather bitumen standard.

Implemented by the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), the project includes bitumen surfacing, spot improvements, earthworks, and extensive drainage and culvert works to enhance durability and year-round accessibility.

The upgraded road will ease the movement of people and goods, shorten travel time, and provide farmers and traders with a more reliable route to markets

For nearly six decades, Sessional Paper No. 10 of 1965 entrenched a policy of historical marginalisation. By classifying vast sections of Kenya as low potential areas undeserving of government investment, it consigned entire regions to the sidelines of national development, an injustice whose effects remain visible today.

UDA Director of Communication, Nathaniel Mong'are notes that for decades, the tarmacking of roads has been unequal, with many regions left behind in favor of others.

The ongoing 6,000KM tarmacking programme has changed the skewed development policy by ensuring roads are spread across the country.

Under President William Samoei Ruto , another 28,000KM of roads will be built through the National Infrastructure Fund, connecting communities and opening up parts of the country that have waited for these roads for years.

The ongoing construction of the 74-kilometre Mbita–Sindo–Kiabuya–Sori Road in Homabay County.

In 1965, Sessional Paper Number 10 was passed in the Cabinet discriminating large sections of Kenya and classifying them as "low potential areas" that do not qualify for government investment, including Homabay County.

Under the leadership of President William Ruto, we are correcting these historical injustices. Equality and inclusivity are the drivers of development under the BETA Plan.

National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs) serve as vital link between the people and government in the implementation of the BETA Plan.

Kajiado West MP Hon. George Sunkuiya, together with the UDA Kajiado Youth League, joined residents of Kimuka for the thanksgiving ceremony of Elijah Tupana, the youthful Assistant Chief of Kimuka Sub-location.

Speaking during the ceremony, Hon. Sunkuiya highlighted some of the projects underway and completed in Kajiado West, including the 70KM Ngong–Suswa Road, Last Mile Connectivity to the national grid, the 11KM Kiserian Town Road facelift and the Ngong Veterinary Affordable Housing Programme.

The UDA Trans-Nzoia County Youth Network has kicked off a grassroots mobilisation drive to sensitise young people on the government's delivery of The Plan.

Young people remain central to the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA); they are our greatest asset. As we head towards the 2027 General Election, we have created more than two million new jobs under Kazi Kwa Ground, Kazi Majuu, and Kazi Kwa Mtandao.

These jobs cut across the Affordable Housing Programme (AHP); road infrastructure, with 6,000 kilometres under construction countrywide; the building of thirty-two stadiums, including the Talanta International Stadium; and initiatives such as Jitume Labs, among others.

Leading the team was Silphados Africas.
