Strengthening 🇨🇿🤝🇰🇪 ties through dialogue on global governance, security, and people-to-people connections.
It was a pleasure to welcome Kenya’s Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, , to Prague during — an important platform bringing together leaders and experts to discuss the future of international cooperation in an increasingly complex world.
During the conference, President Petr Pavel opened discussions focused on the state of multilateralism, global fragmentation, and the need for more resilient and inclusive international institutions fit for the 21st century. Dr. Sing’Oei also joined a high-level panel alongside former Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, OAS Secretary for Multidimensional Security Ivan Marques, and Uruguayan Foreign Minister Mario Lubetkin to reflect on the evolving global order and the future of multilateral cooperation.
The visit also highlighted the strong bonds between our two countries beyond diplomacy and policy. A special moment was the meeting with members of the Kenyan diaspora community and their families in the Czech Republic — a vibrant community contributing to deeper 🇨🇿🇰🇪 connections through culture, education, business, and personal ties.
We thank Dr. Korir Sing’Oei and the Kenyan delegation for their visit and look forward to continued cooperation between Czechia and Kenya on regional and global priorities.
