This comes just weeks after the Mlika Mwizi security lights installed disconnected. Coincidence or a lesson we should all reflect on? Security should never be politics.

Yesterday, the Incoming Senator for Nakuru County, Wakili Joshua Rotich, attended a football match between Bondet FC and Rangers FC in Mauche, where he donated 16 soccer balls to sixteen local teams. He applauded the youth for embracing sports as a positive way of keeping away from drug abuse, early pregnancies and other social vices. Joined by local leaders led by the Area Sub-Chief and former Mauche Ward MCA Philip Rotich, he listened to residents' concerns over the lack of washrooms at the playing field and committed to constructing a temporary pit latrine as plans for permanent facilities are pursued. Wakili Joshua Rotich thanked the people of Mauche and Nessuit Wards for their warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to stand with them now and in the future.

Hon.Leonard Bor commended the initiative for promoting talent development, unity and youth empowerment across Nakuru County, noting that the competition will progress from ward level to the county finals, with winning male and female teams each receiving KSh 1 million. Hon. Bor encouraged young people to seize the opportunity, showcase their abilities and use sports as a platform for growth, discipline and a brighter future.

Today, Hon. Lensco had the privilege of worshipping with members of Kiamumanyi, Kapwilla SDA Church in Nyota Ward during a special fundraising service aimed at supporting the ongoing church construction project.
The event was marked by a strong spirit of faith, unity, and generosity as congregants came together to contribute towards building a permanent place of worship. Hon. Lensco commended the church leadership and members for their commitment, sacrifice, and shared vision, noting that their efforts reflect the power of community and devotion.
He wished the congregation God's blessings and success as they continue working towards the completion of the church for the glory of God.
