The journey to the leadership and victory of Mandera County is becoming clearer by the day.
Our determination is unwavering, our resolve is firm, and this journey is unstoppable.
Following a series of endorsements from various groups in recent times in support of my ambition to serve and lead our county, I was delighted today to receive another important endorsement from the Saransor Women in Nairobi for the Mandera Women Representative seat in 2027.
I am deeply humbled by this show of confidence and trust. Every endorsement strengthens our conviction that the people of Mandera are ready for a new chapter of purposeful, inclusive and transformative leadership.
Indeed, this journey is not mine alone it is ours. It belongs to every Mandera resident who believes in a better future, stronger leadership and a county that works for all.
Together, with unity, determination and a clear vision, we shall achieve in 2027.
The journey continues. The momentum is growing. The victory is within reach.

Dear Manderans.We intend to give Mandera County a fresh start and a fresh look into the future a future built on hope, unity, opportunity and shared progress.
But this is not a journey I can undertake alone. We must do it together. Every voice matters, and every hand has a role to play in shaping the Mandera we want to see.

Let us hold one another our youth, people living with disabilities, mothers, fathers and community elders and move forward as one united people.

Our diversity is our strength, and our unity will be the foundation of a better Mandera.
Together, let us believe again. Together, let us work. Together, let us build a new Mandera.

Joined President H.E Dr. William Ruto today in Naivasha for crucial deliberations bringing together various parties within the broad-based political arrangement.

Our discussions are focused on forging a workable political formula ahead of the 2027 General Elections, the implementation of the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, and other matters of national importance.

As leaders, our responsibility is to put the interests of Kenyans first, promote unity, strengthen our democratic institutions, and work towards a stable and prosperous Kenya.

It was a great pleasure to meet Mandera County residents living in Seattle, Washington, during my tour of the United States.
We held productive discussions on a wide range of issues, with special focus on the challenges and opportunities facing our people in the diaspora, as well as the development priorities back home in Kenya.

I reaffirmed my commitment to strengthening our engagement with the diaspora community and acknowledged the invaluable role they play through investment, skills transfer, advocacy, and remittances in driving the growth and development of Mandera County.

Together, regardless of where we live, we remain united by our shared vision of a prosperous, inclusive, and progressive Mandera. The future of our county will be built through collaboration, unity, and the collective efforts of all our people.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

I have just learnt, with profound shock and deep sadness, of the demise of the Township Chief, Abdimalik Siid Abass (Bukurow).

He served the community with dedication, humility, and commitment, and his valuable service and contribution to the people will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

My heartfelt condolences go to his immediate family, relatives, friends, and the entire people of Township during this difficult time.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, have mercy upon him, and admit his soul into Jannatul Firdaus. May He also grant his family and loved ones strength and patience to bear this great loss.
