Congratulations to the MYS Cohort 8 as you report to your respective Vocational Training Centres to pursue technical skills fully sponsored by the County Government.

As a County Government we wish you all the very best as you embark on courses of your choice, leading to the award of a NITA Certificate. Upon successful completion, you will graduate and receive seed capital of KES 15,000 to support you in starting your own business ventures.

This cohort has also demonstrated great discipline and commitment, having participated in the county clean-up programme for two months, where they earned KES 400 per day, with KES 100 allocated to their parents or guardians.

Governor Dr. Wilber Ottichilo and his Vihiga County delegation visited Murang’a County for a benchmarking exercise on automation and telemedicine.

The visit provided a platform for exchanging ideas on digital transformation in public service delivery, with a focus on improving efficiency, accountability, and service delivery.

Discussions highlighted how technology can enhance healthcare access and strengthen citizen,centered services across counties.

Joined the Governor H.E Irungu Kang'ata at Rurii Grounds, Mathioya, for a public forum on Murang’a’s digital shift.

We introduced the Murang’a App, a single platform making county services quicker and easier,from payments to health access and reporting issues.

We also hosted Vihiga Governor Dr. Wilber K. Ottichilo and his team on a benchmarking visit, including a tour of a telemedicine center highlighting improved healthcare access.
