There were surprise scenes in the kenyan political space yesterday when photos emerged showing former council of governors chairperson and Orange democratic movement (ODM) deputy party leader Wycliffe Oparanya meeting with deputy president William Ruto at Kilgoris.
The duo were not alone during the meeting as The Standard indicates that they were accompanied by a host of leaders that comprised of former cabinet secretaries Mwangi Kiunjuri and Rashid Echesa. Also in attendance during the 9-hour meeting was Narok West member of the national assembly Mr Gabriel Tongoywo.
And now, the Kakamega county governor has come out to finally break his silence over the meeting that has already sent shockwaves into the country's political space due to rumors of a coalition.
In a report by The Standard, the ODM deputy Party leader simply confirmed that the meeting with DP William Ruto actually took place as per the photos doing rounds saying "unaona sio unasikia," which translates to 'you are seeing not hearing
