✅ Nyamtiro Boarding Primary School Project Update

A new dawn for education and child protection in Kuria East! Our Area MP Hon. Marwa Kitayama Maisori, together with NG-CDF Board CEO Mr. Yusuf Mbuno, toured the site of Nyamtiro Boarding Primary School, a modern facility set to transform learning and provide safety for vulnerable children.

The school will feature a two-storey Tuition and Administration Block and serve as a rescue centre for the Giri child, offering protection against the rampant practice of FGM while promoting education.

Phase One is scheduled for completion by the end of January 2026, ensuring this vision becomes a reality for our community.

✅ Nyamtiro One Stop Border Post (OSBP) Land Inspection

As part of today’s development tour, our Area MP Hon. Marwa Kitayama Maisori, together with NG-CDF Board CEO Mr. Yusuf Mbuno, inspected 6 acres of land earmarked for purchase by NG-CDF for the establishment of the Nyamtiro One Stop Border Post (OSBP).

This strategic project aims to boost cross-border trade, enhance revenue collection, and create economic opportunities for Kuria East. The team also visited the Tanzania Revenue Collection offices at Borega Centre to benchmark and understand best practices in cross-border operations.

Area Mp. Hon Marwa Kitayama Maisori together with NG-CDF Board CEO, Mr. Yusuf Mbuno had a joint project monitoring and verification.

The 2 storey building will not only accommodate the administration offices but also will have one wing for the Digital hub.

These initiatives aim to empower youth, reduce unemployment, and expand access to digital skills and jobs. Each hub is expected to generate around 300 digital jobs, translating to approximately 1,500 per constituency.
