Kisii County Woman Representative aspirant Essy Okenyuri has endorsed Douglas Ogari alias ‘Mtetezi’ for the Bonchari Constituency Member of Parliament seat in 2027 general elections election.

Speaking during the funeral of the mother of Richard Onyonka, she described Douglas Ogari as the perfect fit for the constituency leadership position.

She stated that if Bonchari residents desire meaningful development and transformative leadership, they should elect Ogari as the next MP.

According to Okenyuri, Ogari’s leadership qualities and close connection with the people have endeared him to Bonchari residents and will also play a significant role in strengthening support for His Excellency President William Ruto’s re-election ahead of the next General Election.

Leaders who attended the funeral included Senate Speaker Amason Kingi, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba, and Members of Parliament led by National Assembly Chief Whip Silvanus Osoro.
