The Strategic Leadership and Development Programme Cohort 552/2026 is taking learning beyond the classroom as Module 5: Values and Character Development through Experiential Learning gets underway at the Campus.

Bringing together 32 participants, the week is set to be an immersive learning journey, combining practical experiences, reflection, and shared insights to deepen understanding of values and character as essential foundations of effective leadership.

The class was officially opened by the Campus Director, Mr. Dennis Marube, who welcomed the participants and encouraged them to embrace every experience as an opportunity to learn, reflect, grow and challenge themselves.

Supervisory Skills Development Course No. 67/2026 left a meaningful mark beyond the classroom through a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative at Matuga Primary School, where the cohort, led by their Course Coordinator, Ms. Angela Tsuma, donated sanitary pads to girl pupils.
The initiative reflected the cohort’s commitment to leadership, compassion and giving back to the community, demonstrating that true leadership is not only about what we learn, but how we use it to make a difference.

The Supervisory Skills Development Course Cohort 67/2026 and the Induction Programme for officers from the Pest Control Products Board have successfully come to the end of their learning journey at the Campus.

Officially closing the programmes, Campus Director Mr. Marube Nyamiaka urged the cohorts to become ambassadors of the Campus by sharing their positive learning experiences and promoting the opportunities available at the Campus. He also encouraged them to nurture the professional networks they built and, most importantly, translate the knowledge and skills gained into improved performance and better service delivery in their workplaces.

The director commended the SSDC Cohort for demonstrating leadership beyond the classroom through their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, which saw them donate sanitary towels to school-going girls at Matuga Primary School. A meaningful reminder that leadership is not only about what we learn, but also about how we use what we learn to make a difference.

Congratulations to both cohorts! May the knowledge gained, connections made and experiences shared at Matuga continue to create impact wherever you serve.
