Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka has reacted through his official page after his early morning Consultative meeting with Sabaot council of Elders from Mt Elgon led by Hon. Sosi Ndiwa at his Kamukuywa home.

According to him they discussed issues of economic, social and political empowerment and how they agreed on how to include the council's role in peaceful inter-communities co-existence, conservation of Mt. Elgon water catchment areas and creation of Sabaot Cultural heritage centre to preserve the rich culture.
