If you meant to sign up for CYS Summer Soccer or Summer Basketball and missed the April deadline, this is your reminder that we still have space available.

Summer sports don’t begin until the week of June 15, so there’s still time to get your child on the list before the season kicks off. ⏳

The 2026 Kodomo No Matsuri was a huge success!

Thank you to the hundreds of community members who came out to celebrate with us. We were also excited to welcome some of our host nation community members and share such a special day together.

As part of Month of the Military Child, this event was a great way to celebrate our military children and recognize their talent, energy, and resilience.

The performances were a highlight all day long, from the presentation of the colors and national anthems to hip-hop, preschool dances, cheer, youth spotlights, piano performances, and fun song-and-dance numbers.

Thank you to all of our performers, families, volunteers, and staff for making teh 2026 Kodomo No Matsuri so memorable. Enjoy the photo recap!

Get ready for the CYS Egg-Stravaganza Egg Hunt 2026 happening tomorrow, Saturday, April 4th at the School Age Center (SHA Bldg. 121-01) from 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.!

Bring the kids out for a fun-filled morning with:

🎟 Raffles
✨ And lots of fun!

Egg Hunt Times:
11:15–11:25 a.m. Ages 0–3
11:30–11:40 a.m. Ages 4–6
11:45–11:55 a.m. Ages 7–9
12:00–12:10 p.m. Ages 10–12

Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early for your child’s age group, and don’t forget to bring your own basket for collecting eggs!

🌸💜 APRIL IS HERE, CYS FAMILIES! 💜🌸
We’re celebrating the Month of the Military Child with a full month of fun across Camp Zama CYS!

April is packed with special events, family activities, club programs, spirit days, field trips, and celebrations for our amazing military children and youth. Kick things off with Wear Purple Day, Around the Globe fun, movie activities, and the CYS Egg Hunt. Then keep the excitement going with Purple Up! Day, Kodomo-no-Matsuri, Spirit Week, Mission Military Kid Late Night, Humans vs. Zombies 3D, Earth Day activities, Recycle Fashion Show, Spring Tie Dye, Sports Day fun, a field trip to Yokohama North Dock, and end-of-month celebrations.

Families can also look forward to special parent participation events at the CDC, complimentary pancakes for kids during the month, and Youth Center favorites like Art Club, Keystone Club, Torch Club, 4-H Gardening Club, Power Play/Whatever Club, and Tech Club.
