USS Milius (DDG 69) returned to Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan, Aug. 5.
Milius was underway supporting the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command / U.S. 5th Fleet operations for more than three months in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.

Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mitscher (DDG 57) departed Naval Station Norfolk for a regularly scheduled deployment to the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) area of responsibility, July 25.
“Our Sailors have trained hard and are well-prepared to go over the horizon in support of our nation’s tasking,” said Cmdr. Stephen Prugh, commanding officer of Mitscher. “Our Sailors are ready to use their knowledge and expertise in support of U.S. security, whether steaming independently or as a part of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group.”
