#国際交流基金ライブラリー（東京）は1月5日（月）から開館いたします。
本年の干支「馬」にちなんだ日本文学の翻訳作品を紹介いたします。📚林芙美子の『蒼馬を見たり』は英語に、芥川龍之介の『馬の脚』はラトヴィア語に翻訳されたものなどがあります。また、三島由紀夫の『奔馬』は英語、ブルガリア語、ルーマニア語、スペイン語、イタリア語、ドイツ語、フランス語に訳されたものを所蔵しています。ぜひこの機会にそれぞれの作品から想起される馬のイメージに浸ってみてはいかがでしょうか。🐎

In celebration of the Year of the Horse, we are pleased to highlight Japanese literary works from our collection that have been translated into other languages:
Fumiko Hayashi’s “Ao uma o mitari” (“I saw a pale horse”) has been translated into English, while Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s “Uma no ashi” (“Horse legs”) is available in Latvian.📚
In addition, Yukio Mishima’s “Honba” (“Runaway horses”) has been translated into English, Bulgarian, Romanian, Spanish, Italian, German, and French.
We invite you to immerse yourself in the images of horses evoked by each of these works.🐎
