今週コミューナは、タゼン様のMaison et Objetの出展支援と台北芸術大学の学生さん達のDesima storeでのポップアップストア出店研修のサポートの、二つのパリのプロジェクトを同時進行いたしました。

元々タゼンさまでは過去に台北芸術大学の院生のインターンシップ受け入れをしたことで縁があり、この仙台ー台北の縁をパリの因につなげ、このような場を提供できたことを嬉しく思います。

【台北芸術大学サポート in Paris】
昨日は弊社の台北芸術大学のサポートチームが、学生さん達のメゾン視察をアテンド。
タゼン様のブースにご案内しました。

明日は弊社チームが宿泊するaitbnbの宿のリビングで、台湾人学生とタゼン様、そして別に視察中の仙台箪笥組合の皆様との交流も行う予定です。

日本、フランス、そして台湾という複数の国をまたがったプロジェクトの交差点を創り出せたことを嬉しく思います。

【メゾン・エ・オブジェ出展支援中】
現在バリで開催されているMaison et Objetにて、タゼン様の「FINE CRAFT」ブース出展を実施中です。
3回連続となる今回は、メゾンのキュレーターより「今年は何か新しいプロダクトはあるか？」とのお声がけがあり、メゾンが推す「WHAT'S NEW IN DECORA」で紹介いただく栄誉もあり、そのあたりの調整事項などもさせていただきました。

当社としても8回目の出展支援。
現地の通訳の方々や宮城県の駐在官などの人的ネットワーク含め、東北の企業のパリ展示会の「インフラ」的な存在として、何とか今年も維持できた、というのが率直な感想です。

【東北六県庁所在地連携サイト「ときめく、とうほく」多言語化リリース】
弊社が今年度より担当している、東北六県の県庁所在地自治体様による観光情報連携サイト「ときめく、とうほく」について、多言語化の第一弾を本日リリースいたしました。

5月より実質スタートした多言語化ですが、大阪・関西万博にあわせてまずは基本的な情報の掲載を行い、今後は「Diary」の記事108本の各言語の掲載や、ネイティブ視点で選定した記事紹介企画「Feature」や各市の新規記事など、順次公開予定ですので、お楽しみに。

メゾン・エ・オブジェ4日目スタートです！
日本の展示会と違い、土日も開催されます。日本の展示会と違って、一般のデザインの好きな方の入場も多い印象です。
そのため昨年はビジネス的な「商談」にはなりにくい印象があったのですが、今年は展示されたこの「Un jour à Sendai（仙台のある日）」の作品性のパワーが凄く、昨日は土曜日にも関わらず多くのビジネス的な引き合いがありました。

The day 4 of Maison & Objet has begun!
Unlike exhibitions in Japan, Maison & Objet is open on weekends. Unlike exhibitions in Japan, it seems like there are more consumers who love design than Japan.
So it didn't seem like there would be many business "negotiations" last year, but this year the power of the work "Un jour à Sendai (One Day in Sendai)," is so great that there were many business inquiries.

現在communaのメンバーは、株式会社タゼンさんの「TAZEN COPPER PANEL」のメゾン・エ・オブジェ（パリ）での出展サポートのため、パリに来ております。
タゼン様のメゾン・エ・オブジェ出展は、昨年に続き2回目。
出展初日を無事乗り越えました。
今回は、巨大な銅のパネル「「Un jour à Sendai」を出品。
この展示を通して、タゼンが伝統的に得意とする銅のオーダーメイドのソリューションを紹介していきます。
おかげさまでその初日にして、かなり具体的なオーダーに繋がりそうな引き合いがありました。
この調子で、残りの4日間も乗り越えたいと思います！

🌎 On-Site Update from Paris! 🗼
Communa team is currently in Paris, supporting TAZEN's showcase of their ""TAZEN COPPER PANEL"" at Maison & Objet! This marks TAZEN's second consecutive year at this prestigious exhibition!

This year's highlight is the magnificent ""Un jour à Sendai"" - a spectacular large-scale copper panel that perfectly demonstrates TAZEN's expertise in copper crafts. Their craftsmanship has been passed down through generations, and we're thrilled to introduce these bespoke possibilities to the European market.

We're already seeing promising results, with several serious inquiries about custom orders on just the first day! Looking forward to maintaining this momentum through the remaining four days of the exhibition. Stay tuned for more updates! ✨

今年の1月は、鳥取県庁様からの委託によるパリのPOP-UPショップと、それに被る形でタゼン様のメゾン・エ・オブジェへの出展のサポートが並行して行われ、コミューナとしては初の海外で二つのチームが同時に展開する状態になりました。
思えば、10年前の2014年に宮城県様からの委託により、パリとメゾンの視察を行ったことが契機となって、パリを含め数度のヨーロッパでの催事や、今回5回目となるメゾン出展サポート業務を行うことになりました。

昨日、この「鳥取チーム」が次なるフィンランドでの催事や現地の北欧のコラボ相手とのネットワーク構築のため、スウェーデンに旅立ちました。また、「メゾンチーム」も本日フランスから帰国の途につく予定です。かつて「徒手空拳」でパリの視察をした組織が、今やパリで同時にプロジェクトを進行させ、また日本から見送るのではなく、シャルル・ド・ゴール空港から仲間を見送るような光景が実現したことは感無量です。
引き続き、コミューナはビジネスの海外展開を望む中小企業様に寄り添った事業を展開していきたいと思いますので、お気軽に相談くださいませ。

This January, Communa carried out two major projects in Paris simultaneously: a pop-up store for Tottori crafts, commissioned by the Tottori Prefectural Government, and Tazen’s exhibition at Maison&Objet. This was the first time we had two teams working in parallel overseas.

Looking back, our first exhibition at Maison&Objet was 10 years ago, commissioned by the Prefectural Government of Miyagi. This led to us being involved in several events in Europe ever since. This is our 5th time supporting a client at Maison&Objet.

Yesterday, our Tottori Craft team departed for Sweden and from there will go on to Finland, strengthening our network with our Nordic collaborators. Our Maison&Objet team is returning to Japan today. It feels so amazing to see how our company, which once toured Paris with empty hands, is now working on projects there simultaneously, and that our members are seeing each other off, not at the airport in Japan, but at Charles de Gaulle!

メゾン・エ・オブジェのタゼン様出展支援、無事にミッション完了しました！
朝の9：30から19：00まで、そして土日を挟んだ5日間という長い会期の見本市。またコミューナとしてもコロナ明けの初海外出展支援ということで、細かなところで至らない部分もありましたが、タゼン様の日本に残ったスタッフや現地での3名の通訳リレー、会場内で兜の前立づくりなど様々なチャレンジをした田中善様、そして何よりその魅力的な商材に助けられ、良好な商談が得られたかと思います。
そしてこれからメゾンで得られたリアクションメモから、遠隔での商談フォローが始まります。
展示会は出展しただけではなく、その後のフォローこそがある意味で次の「本番」が始まります。
気を抜かずに商談サポートを続けていきたいと思います！

That’s a wrap on the final day of our exhibition! Many thanks to the team of Maison&Objet and to Tazen!

Maison&Objet, which took place from 9:30 - 19:00 for five days straight, was Communa’s first time assisting with a client’s exhibition as a supporting partner since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though there were a few small details that could have been further improved, overall this has been an amazing business experience thanks to the support of Tazen’s staff in Japan, our three local translators, and Zen-san, who demonstrated his samurai helmet craftsmanship during the event and handled various challenges like building display stands. Of course, Tazen’s attractive products also spoke for themselves!

Next up, we have an online meeting with other members of the team to discuss the reactions that Tazen received at Maison&Objet.

Exhibiting is an essential part of the project, but in the follow-up stages the real work begins.

Our team will continue to give 110%!

The third day of Maison&Objet was on a Saturday, so there were a lot of visitors from the general public, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful.

Although I caught myself saying things like ""it’s slow,"" and ""there were only 3 badge reader scans today"" (equivalent to exchanging business cards), overall I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the day with families pushing strollers and elderly couples enjoying the booths and looking at products with great interest. You cannot find this atmosphere at similar events in Japan.

Nevertheless, today we connected with the president of a European cookware manufacturer which features copper. Our team’s goal of making 100 friends of copper at Maison&Objet is going according to plan.
Nothing can hold us back!

メゾンの3日目は週末の土曜日開催ということで、一般の方の来場が多かったようで、全体は和やかな雰囲気に。
向かいのブースのスタッフと「今日は（名刺交換の代わりに行われる）バッジリーダースキャンは3件しかなかった～」「暇ね～」などとちょっと残念な気持ちを共有しましたが、個人的にはベビーカーを押してブースを愉しむ家族がいたり、アベックで興味深く商材をみる老夫婦がいたり、日本にはあり得ないこの雰囲気も好きですね。

とはいえ、今日も隣国の銅にフィーチャーした調理器具メーカーの社長とつながったり、今回の裏のテーマ「メゾンで（銅の）友達100人できるかな計画」的には「計画には支障ない。すべてはシナリオ通りだ」という感じで、おおむね順調です。

【メゾン二日目】
二日目ともなれば少し心にも余裕ができて、周りのブースの方々と会話を楽しんだり、近くに出展している日本からのブースにご挨拶するなど、ショーを楽しむ余裕も。
こういう情報交換はビジネスでは重要ですし、使い古された言葉ですが「国際交流」を堪能でき、醍醐味でもあります。

商談の方もとても良い「引き合い」があったり、狙っていた層からのお声がけがあったりと、「パリまで来た甲斐があった！（感涙）」という、だいぶ手応えがありました。

この調子で残り3日間を乗り切りたいと思います！
