【A Vast Park Surrounded by Pine Forests Where Nature and Culture Come Together 🌿】

Located in Miyazaki, Awakigahara Forest Park Shimin no Mori is a vast forest park stretching approximately 10 km from north to south, surrounded by beautiful pine forests 🌊

In addition to walking trails, observation decks, and open lawn areas, the park is also home to spiritual spots connected to Japanese mythology, including Misogi Pond and Eda Shrine ⛩

In early summer, around 200,000 Japanese irises bloom throughout the park, and the annual “Hanashobu Festival” is held from late May to early June 😄

The park also offers seasonal beauty year-round. Plum blossoms in winter and hydrangeas during the rainy season — making it a relaxing destination rich in nature 👍
