🇳🇱🇯🇵在長崎オランダ王国名誉領事の交代

9月17日、ベスホー・プルッフ駐日オランダ王国大使が長崎でレセプションを開催し、13年間にわたり在長崎オランダ王国名誉領事を務められた嶋崎真英様に、これまでのご尽力に対する感謝をお伝えしました。
嶋崎様には、出島や長崎のオランダ人墓地の維持、ビジネス・文化交流など、幅広い分野で長崎とオランダのつながりを支えていただきました。日本におけるオランダのネットワーク全体を代表して、大使より長年にわたるご尽力とご支援に心より感謝を申し上げました。

また同イベントでは大使により、新たに在長崎オランダ王国名誉領事に就任された松藤章喜様が歓迎されました。
長崎在住の起業家である松藤様は、幅広いネットワークと豊かなご経験をお持ちです。こうしたつながりやご経験を生かし、より多くのオランダ企業や観光客を長崎に迎えるとともに、長崎の企業がオランダで新たなビジネスの機会を見つけられるよう、共に日蘭の交流をさらに発展させていきたいと考えています。

🇳🇱🇯🇵 Change of Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Nagasaki

On 17 September Ambassador Beschoor Plug hosted a reception in Nagasaki to thank Mr. Masahide Shimazaki, who served as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Nagasaki for the past 13 years. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Shimazaki played an important role in strengthening the ties between Nagasaki and the Netherlands across a wide range of fields, including the preservation of Dejima and the local Dutch cemetery, as well as business and cultural exchange. On behalf of the whole network in Japan, Ambassador Beschoor Plug expressed his gratitude to Mr. Shimazaki for his longstanding commitment and support.

At the same time, Ambassador Beschoor Plug welcomed Mr. Akiyoshi Matsufuji as the new Honorary Consul in Nagasaki.
A Nagasaki resident and entrepreneur with an extensive network, Mr. Matsufuji brings valuable connections and experience to this new role. Together, we look forward to welcoming more Dutch companies and tourists to Nagasaki, while exploring new opportunities for local Nagasaki businesses to do business in the Netherlands.
Building on the strong ties between Nagasaki and the Netherlands that Mr. Shimazaki has helped foster over the years, we look forward to working together with Mr. Matsufuji to create new opportunities for exchange and cooperation.

テオ・ヤンセン展が９月２３日（水）まで富山県美術館 アート＆デザインにて開催中！

オランダの造形作家、テオ・ヤンセン（1948～）は、オランダの海面上昇にともなって国土が縮小する問題を解決できないかという発想をもとに、風を動力源として砂浜を歩く「ストランドビースト」（オランダ語のstrand（砂浜とbeest（生きもの）を合わせたヤンセンによる造語。）を生み出しました。

本展では、芸術と科学を融合させ、「現代のレオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチ」とも称されるテオ・ヤンセンが生み出した様々な形態のビーストと、その発想の過程や進化を、映像、スケッチ、パーツなどの資料とともに紹介されています。

The Theo Jansen exhibition is currently on view at the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design, through Wednesday, September 23.

The Dutch artist Theo Jansen (1948-present) created the "Strandbeest" - a fusion of the words "Strand" (Beach) and "Beest" (Beast), coined by Jansen himself - which was inspired by the idea of finding a solution to the problem of the Netherlands' shrinking land area due to rising sea levels. These creatures walk along the sandy beaches powered by the wind.

This exhibition blends art and science to showcase the various forms of Strandbeests created by Theo Jansen, dubbed as the "Modern day Da Vinci", along with the creative process and evolution behind them, through videos, sketches, parts and other materials.

オランダ王国大使館・総領事館は、大阪中之島美術館で開催中の「フェルメール《真珠の耳飾りの少女》展」のオープニングイベントの一つとして、パネルディスカッション「フェルメール《真珠の耳飾りの少女》展の舞台裏：アート・ビジネス・女性リーダーシップがつなぐもの」を開催しました。

本イベントには、本展覧会の実現に深く携わった株式会社朝日新聞社 専務取締役大阪本社代表の堀越礼子氏、大阪中之島美術館 館長代行の植木啓子氏、オランダ・マウリッツハイス美術館 館長のマルティネ・ゴッセリンク氏が登壇いたしました。

一つの文化プロジェクトを実現するための協働から、文化とビジネスの新たな関係、そしてこれからの女性リーダーシップまで、幅広い視点から議論しました。フェルメールという世界的な芸術作品を起点に、国や組織、分野を越えた協働が生み出す可能性についても意見を交わしました。

現在来日中の、オランダ外務省欧州協力担当事務次官のヘレーン・バッケル氏、ハーグ市長のヤン・ファン・ザーネン氏は、駐日オランダ王国大使館のヒルス・ベスホー・プルッフ大使とともに、明日8月21日から大阪中之島美術館で一般公開される展覧会「フェルメール《真珠の耳飾りの少女》」のオープニングイベントに出席されました。

イベントには、《真珠の耳飾りの少女》を所蔵するオランダ・マウリッツハイス美術館のマルティネ・ゴッセリンク館長も参加され、愛子内親王殿下とともに、展覧会をご覧になりました。

オランダを代表する画家ヨハネス・フェルメールの傑作《真珠の耳飾りの少女》をはじめ、レンブラント、ヤン・ステーン、マリア・ファン・オーステルウェイクによる見事な作品など、17世紀オランダ絵画の名作が一堂に会する本展。ぜひご注目ください。

Currently visiting Japan, Heleen Bakker, Vice Minister for European Cooperation at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Jan van Zanen, Mayor of The Hague, together with Gilles Beschoor Plug, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Japan, attended the opening event of the exhibition “Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch masterpieces of the 17th century”, which opens to the public tomorrow, 21 August, at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka.

The event was also attended by Martine Gosselink, General Director of the Mauritshuis, which is home to Vermeer’s iconic masterpiece Girl with a Pearl Earring. Together with Her Imperial Highness Princess Aiko, they had the opportunity to view the exhibition.

Alongside Johannes Vermeer’s masterpiece Girl with a Pearl Earring, the exhibition brings together a remarkable selection of 17th-century Dutch masterpieces, including works by Rembrandt, Jan Steen, and Maria van Oosterwijck.

The exhibition offers a special opportunity to experience the richness and beauty of 17th-century Dutch art, bringing together these remarkable works in Japan.

会談では、長年にわたる日蘭の友好関係を踏まえ、両国のさらなる協力や、欧州・国際社会をめぐる幅広い課題について意見交換を行いました。

バッケル氏は、不確実性が高まる今日の国際社会において、志を同じくする国々が緊密に連携し、共に課題に向き合うことのの重要性を強調しました。オランダと日本は、価値観を共有するパートナーとして、これからも対話と協力を通じて、両国のパートナーシップをさらに深めていきます。🇯🇵🇳🇱
