🌈先日、オランダ大使館の大使公邸にて、『「結婚の平等」25周年イベント：オランダから日本へ』イベントが行われました。

世界で初めて結婚の平等（同性婚）を実現し、今年で25周年を迎えたオランダ。当日は、オランダのロブ・イェッテン首相からビデオメッセージが届くなどし、イベントは盛り上がりました✨ご参加いただきました皆様、有難うございました❗

これからもオランダは、すべての人が、自分らしく生き、愛する人と共に歩める社会を目指して、世界中のLGBTIQ+当事者の平等な権利を守る活動、ERCやWorkplace Prideなどを積極的に支援していきます❗

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands hosted the event “25 Years of Marriage Equality: From the Netherlands to Japan” at the Ambassador’s Residence on Monday 8 June.

As the first country in the world to legalize marriage equality, the Netherlands celebrates this historic milestone. The event was enriched by a special video message from the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us!

Equal rights for LGBTIQ+ persons is a longstanding and core human rights priority for the Kingdom of the Netherlands. As the first country to adopt marriage equality and adoption rights for same-sex couples in 2001, we proudly support LGBTIQ+ organizations and global initiatives such as the Equal Rights Coalition (ERC) and Workplace Pride.

駐日オランダ王国大使館ヒルス・ベスホー・プルッフ大使は先日、按針忌およびオランダ人墓地埋葬者慰霊祭の機会に平戸と長崎を訪問しました。

今回の訪問では、平戸および長崎において、日蘭関係の長い歴史的なつながりを振り返る意義深いプログラムに参加。平戸では、ウィリアム・アダムス「按針忌」記念式典およびオランダ商館関係者慰霊碑献花式に出席されたほか、長崎ではオランダ人墓地における年次慰霊祭に参列されました。また、出島、長崎歴史文化博物館、その他の歴史的・記念関連施設の視察も行われました。

さらに、関係者や地域の皆様との意見交換・表敬訪問を通じて、日蘭の長年にわたる関係を一層深める機会となりました。
本訪問にあたり、ご協力いただいたすべての皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。

We are pleased to share highlights from the visit of Ambassador Gilles Beschoor Plug to Hirado and Nagasaki, held on the occasion of the William Adams Memorial Ceremony and the annual commemoration at the Hollandsche Begraafplaats.

Over three days, the Ambassador took part in a series of meaningful programs in both Hirado and Nagasaki, reflecting on the long historical ties between the Netherlands and Japan.

The visit included the William Adams Memorial Ceremony and Dutch Memorial Service in Hirado, as well as the annual commemoration at the Hollandsche Begraafplaats in Nagasaki. The Ambassador also visited key historical and cultural sites, including Dejima, the Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture, and several memorial locations connected to shared history.
The program concluded with meetings and exchanges with local partners and stakeholders, further strengthening the long-standing ties between the Netherlands and Japan.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of this visit.

先日、駐日オランダ王国大使館 経済部のソシャ・ブロンフマン二等書記官は、都内で行われたHERALBONY Art Prize 2026の内覧会に参加しました。オランダで活動されているグランプリ受賞作家のカー・ハン・ムイ氏（Kar Hang Mui）に直接お祝いの言葉を伝えました。

現在、グランプリおよび各賞受賞作家と最終審査進出作家、総勢56名による全62作品を一堂に展示しているHERALBONY Art Prize 2026 Presented by 東京建物｜Brilliaの展覧会が大手町にて開催中です。5月30日から6月27日まで開催されていますので、世界中から集まった、唯一無二の表現たちをぜひご覧ください。

Sosha Bronfman, Second Secretary of the Economic Department at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Japan, attended the preview of the HERALBONY Art Prize 2026 held in Tokyo. During the event, she personally congratulated Kar Hang Mui, the Grand Prize-winning artist based in the Netherlands.

The HERALBONY Art Prize 2026 Exhibition Presented by Tokyo Tatemono | Brillia is currently being held in Otemachi, featuring all 62 works by 56 artists, including the Grand Prize winner, other award recipients, and finalists. Running from May 30 to June 27, the exhibition showcases unique and inspiring artistic expressions from around the world. We warmly invite you to visit and experience these remarkable works.
