VCC, Embassy of India, Tokyo celebrated the 77th Anniversary of ICCR with a memorable evening of culture, music & dance.
Chargé d’Affaires Shri R Madhu Sudan addressed the gathering & highlighted ICCR’s remarkable journey in strengthening India’s cultural ties with the world including Japan over seven decades.
The evening was graced by ICCR Alumni Shiho Oikawa, who movingly shared her experience of ICCR’s transformative support. ICCR alumnae Masako Sato & her team enthralled the audience with a scintillating Kathak performance, while Fumie Negishi presented classical Indian music on the Sitar.
Artiste Rajasthani Madu brought vibrant energy with a colourful folk dance of Rajasthan and the Amrapali team led by Pranaame Bhagawati, traveling from India, presented a soul-stirring programme of Borgeet Invocatory, Tarana & Vande Mataram.
An exhibition celebrating the richness of Indian culture added a beautiful visual dimension to the evening.
在東京インド大使館ヴィヴェーカーナンダ文化センター（VCC）は、ICCR設立77周年を記念し、音楽と舞踊に彩られた特別な文化の夕べを開催しました。
R・マドゥ・スダン臨時代理大使は挨拶の中で、ICCRが70年以上にわたり、日本を含む世界との文化的なつながりの強化に果たしてきた重要な役割について述べました。
ICCR同窓生の及川史歩氏が体験を語り、サトウ雅子氏とそのチームは華やかなカタック舞踊を披露しました。また、根岸史絵氏がシタールによるインド古典音楽を演奏しました。
ラジャスターニ・マドゥー氏による色彩豊かなラージャスターンの民族舞踊に加え、プラナーメ・バガワティ氏率いるインドからのアムラパリ・チームが、ボルゲートの祈りの歌、タラナ、そして「ヴァンデー・マータラム」を披露しました。
また、インド文化の豊かさを紹介する展示も行われ、会場に彩りを添えました。
