“SBI Maihanabi in Chiba –SUNSET BEACH PARK INAGE feat. SKY ORCHESTRA” will be held in Chiba City on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Top-class fireworks artisans from across Japan will gather to present a breathtaking showcase, competing with unique techniques and creative choreography found only at this event. Don’t miss the opening drone show lighting up the night sky, as well as cutting-edge performances where fireworks are launched in perfect sync with every note performed by music artists. With music and fireworks synchronized to within 0.03 seconds, you’ll be immersed in an extraordinary, otherworldly experience. While fireworks festivals in Japan are typically held in summer, this event offers an early chance to enjoy a stunning fusion of traditional craftsmanship and the latest technology.

🏡 A Glimpse into Chiba’s Villa Culture: Historic Japanese Architecture at Chiba City Yukari-no-Ie Inage
🏡留存於千葉的「別墅文化」與歷史建築「千葉市緣之家稻毛」
Chiba City Yukari-no-Ie Inage is a valuable example of traditional Japanese architecture that preserves the history of Inage, once known as a seaside resort area.
From the late 19th century onward, many writers and cultural figures visited the Inage coast, where villas and second homes were built among the pine forests along the shoreline. The area around present-day National Route 14 marks where the coastline once lay, and the sea used to extend beyond it. This building is one such example, still retaining the atmosphere of those days. Built in the early 20th century, the villa consists of a single-story main house and a detached annex in the garden. Inside, it is richly detailed with features such as lacquer-framed koshi-tsuki shoji (paper sliding screens with wooden lower panels), a transom adorned with kumiko latticework, and a high coffered ceiling.
This villa is also known as the place where, in 1937, Pu Jie—the younger brother of Aisin Gioro Puyi, the last emperor of China’s Qing dynasty—and his wife Hiro, the eldest daughter of Marquis Saga, spent their early married life.
Today, it is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Chiba City, offering visitors a chance to experience traditional Japanese architecture and history.

「千葉市緣之家稻毛」是一棟珍貴的日式建築，訴說著稻毛地區過去作為療養勝地而繁榮的歷史。明治中期（19世紀後期）以後，許多文人造訪稻毛海岸，並以海岸線的松林一帶為中心，興建了許多別墅與宅邸。現在的國道14號線附近即是當時的海岸線，其靠海一側在過去曾是一片廣闊的海洋。

而這棟建築正是當年的別墅之一，至今仍保留著昔日的風貌。建於大正初期（20世紀前期）的這棟別墅，由平房的主要建築「主屋」與庭院中的獨立建築「離屋」所構成，內部設計十分講究，可以看到帶有塗漆邊框的腰板紙拉門（腰付障子）、以組子工藝裝飾的格窗（欄間）、以及挑高的方格天花板（格天井）等。

此外，這棟別墅也因一段歷史而聞名。1937年，中國清朝末代皇帝愛新覺羅溥儀的弟弟溥傑與妻子浩，曾在此度過新婚生活。

目前這棟建築已被登錄為千葉市的地區有形文化財（建造物），是一個能感受日本傳統居住文化與歷史的景點。

🏯A Renewed Japanese Garden Opens at Inohana Park!
🏯亥鼻公園的日本庭園重新開放！

Inohana Park, located next to Chiba Castle (Chiba City Folk Museum), offers a beautiful Japanese garden to explore. From April 2026, visitors can stroll through the garden and enjoy scenic views of both the traditional landscape and Chiba Castle.
A teahouse is also scheduled to fully open in June 2026, where you can relax and enjoy light refreshments in a serene setting.
From late March to early April, cherry blossom season arrives at Inohana Park, and the “Chiba Castle Cherry Blossom Festival” takes place here (March 28 – April 5, 2026). During the festival, in addition to the stunning combination of the castle and cherry blossoms, Chiba Castle is illuminated and bamboo lanterns are displayed, creating a magical atmosphere quite different from the daytime.
The Chiba City Folk Museum reopened in November 2025, offering updated exhibits where visitors can learn about the history of Chiba City.

亥鼻公園緊鄰千葉城（千葉市立鄉土博物館），是可以欣賞日本庭園的景點。2026年4月起，庭園將開放入內散步，遊客可以一覽日本庭園與千葉城的景色。另外，園內的茶屋預計於2026年6月起正式營業，屆時也能在此享用餐點。
每年3月下旬至4月上旬是櫻花的季節，亥鼻公園會舉辦櫻花祭活動（※2026年舉辦日期為3月28日～4月5日）。祭典期間，除了城堡與櫻花相映的景色之外，夜晚還會舉行千葉城點燈及竹燈展示，營造出與白天截然不同的氛圍。
此外，相鄰的千葉市立鄉土博物館已於2025年11月完成整修重新開館，館內可以了解千葉市的歷史。

🌸 How to Read the Bloom Status
Each location shows the current bloom stage with easy-to-understand icons.
Buds (つぼみ) – The flowers have not opened yet, and the trees are still in bud.
Beginning to Bloom (開花) – The first blossoms are starting to open on the branches.
20%–90% Bloom (2分～9分咲き) – In Japan, cherry blossoms are sometimes described on a 10-step scale. Full bloom is considered “10,” and the numbers indicate how far the blossoms have progressed.
Full Bloom (満開) – Most blossoms are open. This is considered the best time to enjoy the cherry blossoms.
Petals Falling (桜吹雪) – Petals begin to fall gently, creating the beautiful scene as they drift through the air like snow.
Leafy Stage (葉桜) – Most blossoms have fallen, and fresh green leaves begin to stand out.

〇開花狀況的查看方式
每個景點都會以圖示呈現櫻花的開花狀況。
花苞：花朵尚未綻放，仍是花苞的狀態。
開花：樹梢的花朵開始逐漸綻放。
2分〜9分開：日本有時會將櫻花綻放的程度分為「10個階段」，以盛開為10分，用數字來表示盛開（滿開）之前各階段的開花狀況。
滿開：櫻花幾乎全數綻放的狀態，被認為是最美的時期。
櫻吹雪：花瓣開始逐漸飄落的時期，可以欣賞花瓣隨風飛舞的景色。
葉櫻：花朵凋落，綠葉變得明顯的狀態。

千葉市職人故事vol.8 帶點懷舊感的流行文化私人博物館的館長 🎮📖

This is part of the “Meisters in Chiba City” series to introduce outstanding professionals from various fields who are making a significant impact in Chiba City. By visiting the “Meisters in Chiba City,” you can feel and understand Japan more deeply.
In this edition, we introduce Mr. Hirasawa, director of the “CHIBAMINA TO E MUSEUM” near Chiba Station. In April 2025, he opened the museum to showcase his long-collected games and anime memorabilia, creating a space to share memories with fellow fans. The collection focuses mainly on items from the early 2000s, including retro home video game consoles, manga, and anime song CDs, offering visitors a chance to fully immerse themselves in that era of Japanese pop culture.
One of the most eye-catching features is a display shelf showcasing the history of home gaming consoles. From the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) to rare and lesser-known models, each piece has been carefully preserved and reflects Mr. Hirasawa’s lifelong passion for gaming.
Among his favorites is the SEGA GENESIS, released in 1988. A worldwide hit, he says its intricate design has a distinctive charm. He adds that it was his favorite era, when companies competed fiercely and produced a wide variety of uniquely designed consoles.
Mr. Hirasawa has also paid special attention to creating the atmosphere of the space. For an admission fee of 2,000 yen, visitors can enjoy unlimited drinks while freely spending their time reading manga or listening to anime and voice actor CDs.
Since 2016, Mr. Hirasawa has operated the local media site “Chibaminato.jp.” With the aim of sharing the charm of Chiba City in a fun and accessible way, he created the local character “Chibaminako-chan.” As the character gained popularity on X (formerly Twitter), it led to connections with local illustrators and voice actors, resulting in a wide range of collaborations, including original artwork, merchandise, and even a theme song. Mr. Hirasawa says that seeing these developments has been especially rewarding. Goods and panels can be found not only at the museum but also at K’s Harbor, the departure point for the Chiba Port Sightseeing Cruise.
At the end of the interview, Mr. Hirasawa spoke with a gentle smile, saying, “Makuhari Messe hosts international events such as the Tokyo Game Show, and I would be delighted if visitors could also stop by the museum while they are here. There are art museums, a science museum, and many izakayas nearby where you can experience Japanese culture, so I highly recommend the area.”

這次要介紹的平澤先生，是位於千葉站周邊的博物館——「Chibaminato E Museum」的館長。他把多年來蒐集的遊戲與動漫收藏拿出來展示，打造了一個與粉絲分享回憶的場所。博物館於2025年4月正式開幕，館內以2000年前後的物品為主，陳列著令人懷念的家用遊戲機、漫畫、動漫歌曲CD等展品，是個讓人能盡情沉浸在日本流行文化裡的空間。

特別吸睛的就是能一覽家用遊戲機發展史的展示櫃。從初代紅白機到稀有機型都有，這些都是從小熱愛遊戲的平澤先生一直珍惜著玩到大的收藏。其中他最喜歡的是SEGA於1988年推出的「Mega Drive」，這款主機是SEGA風靡全球的代表作，複雜的設計別有一番韻味。他說自己很喜歡那個各家公司互相競爭、推出各種極具特色遊戲機的年代。
此外，平澤先生對空間的營造也非常講究。只要支付每人2,000日圓的門票，即可無限暢飲飲料，並且自由看漫畫、播放動漫歌曲或聲優的CD，度過館內時光。

平澤先生從2016年起經營當方資訊網站「chibaminato.jp」，懷著希望透過角色傳達千葉市魅力的想法，當地形象角色「Chibaminako-chan」因此誕生。隨著「Chibaminako-chan」在X（原Twitter）上逐漸打開知名度，開始有市內的插畫家與聲優主動與他聯繫，進而展開插畫、周邊商品、形象歌曲等各種企劃，平澤先生表示這讓他非常開心。除了博物館之外，在千葉港觀光船的乘船處「K's Harbor」也有相關的周邊商品與立牌。

平澤先生最後說：「幕張展覽館會舉辦東京電玩展等國際活動，大家來參加時如果能順道來博物館逛逛，我會非常開心。這附近還有美術館、科學館，以及許多像居酒屋這樣可以體驗日本文化的地方，真的很推薦喔。」他帶著溫和的笑容表達了歡迎來訪的心意。
