أنشئت وزارة العدل في 11/4/1921 تحت مسمى (مشاور العدليّة) لتكون الذراع التنفيذي للجهاز القضائي الأردني، ولتباشر منذ ذلك التاريخ دورها في تحقيق رسالة الدولة الأساسية المتمثلة بإقامة العدل بين الناس، وإرساء قيم المساواة وتكافؤ الفرص، والحفاظ على حقوق المواطن ومكتسباته التي نص عليها الدستور وكفلتها القوانين والأنظمة المرعية. The Ministry of Justice was established in April 11, 1921 under the name of (Consultation justice) to be the executive arm of the judiciary of Jordan. The Ministry proceeded since that date in its role to achieve the state's basic message to establish justice among the people, to promote values of equality and equal opportunities, and to preserve the rights of the citizen and the gains stipulated by the Constitution and guaranteed by the laws and regulations in force.
