17 May 2026 โ The Philippine Embassy in Jordan congratulates 41 Filipino Muslim graduates of Mutah University during the Universityโs International Students Graduation Ceremony, highlighting the academic achievements and cultural contributions of the Filipino student community in Jordan.
The Philippine Embassy especially recognizes the achievements of the 41 Filipino Muslim graduates, whose successful completion of their studies reflects not only academic excellence, but also the resilience, discipline, and strong values of the Filipino community abroad. Thirty-nine (39) of these graduates earned their Bachelorโs Degree, one (1) with Masterโs Degree, and one (1) with Doctorate.
In addition to the graduation ceremony, Filipino students also actively participated in the International Studentsโ Exhibition organized by the Department of Student Affairs. The exhibition featured cultural presentations from various sisterly and friendly countries, including the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Bahrain, Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Iraq, and the Sultanate of Oman.
The Filipino booth showcased aspects of Filipino Muslim culture and heritage through traditional attire, cultural displays, heritage items, and presentations reflecting the rich diversity and identity of the Philippines. The participation of Filipino students contributed to the vibrant multicultural atmosphere of the exhibition and highlighted the Philippinesโ commitment to cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
The Philippine Embassy in Jordan commends Mutah University for its continued support for international students and for providing opportunities that promote academic achievement, cultural appreciation, and people-to-people connections.
The Embassy likewise extends its heartfelt congratulations to the 41 Filipino Muslim graduates and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors as they carry forward the values of excellence, service, and cultural understanding.
Representing the Embassy at the event was Third Secretary and Vice Consul Sheila Marie G. Andales, who conveyed the Embassyโs congratulations to the graduates and joined university officials, members of the diplomatic corps, faculty members, and the students in commemorating the milestone occasion.
