JCCF Representative Heads to Nigeria for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Gold Event & Forum 2025!

The Jamaica Combined Cadet Force (JCCF) is proud to announce that Adult Staff Sergeant Audley Bailey, of the Northern Regiment, will journey to Victoria Island, Lagos State, Nigeria, in November 2025 to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – International Gold Event (IGE) and Forum 2025.

The IGE is a premier International Leadership Development experience for Gold Award holders aged 18–28 who have demonstrated exceptional potential.  The Forum is a major event held once every three years, bringing together leaders from across the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Association and Foundation.

This is a significant achievement for both SSgt Bailey and the JCCF, as the IGE is one of the most prestigious youth leadership and development events within the Award Programme.

A Proud Moment for Jamaica

SSgt Audley Bailey’s participation reflects the JCCF’s continued commitment to excellence, leadership development, and youth empowerment.

His selection highlights the outstanding talent within the JCCF and reinforces Jamaica’s active role in the Global Award Community.

We wish SSgt Bailey every success as he represents the JCCF, the Northern Regiment, and Jamaica on this international stage!
