JCCF | CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY

On Tuesday, 4 August 2026, the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force (JCCF) held its Change of Command Ceremony at the Caribbean Military Academy, Up Park Camp, marking the formal transition of command from Brigadier Errol V. Johnson, outgoing Commandant, to Colonel Nicholas V. Taylor, Commandant.

As we reflect on this significant occasion, we honour Brigadier Johnson for his leadership, dedicated service and contribution to the continued development of the Force, while welcoming Colonel Taylor as he assumes the responsibility of leading the JCCF into its next chapter.

The Change of Command is more than a ceremonial transition; it represents the enduring commitment to discipline, service, leadership and excellence that continues to shape the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force.

A New Chapter Begins.

The Jamaica Combined Cadet Force (JCCF) proudly congratulates Colonel Nicholas Taylor on his appointment as Commandant of the JCCF, effective 01 August 2026.

On Thursday, 30 April 2026, Cadets from the Eastern and Headquarters Regiments participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Rotary District 7020 Conference held at the Pegasus Hotel.

The Cadets demonstrated outstanding bearing and teamwork while proudly representing the values and standards of the JCCF throughout the event.
