Each year, January 9 commemorates "Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Day" in honor of the first largest shipment of the coffee beans to Japan on January 9, 1967.

Japan remains the largest importer of Jamaican coffee, importing approximately 70% of Jamaica's production annually.

Caleader showed pose, indepth knowledge of Jamaica and confidence as she glided through her prepared presentation on "Digital Transformation in Tourism" and in the mystery question segment.

Join us as we offer her well deserved praises and recognition for her hard work!

Together, we’re protecting our environment and keeping Jamaica’s beaches clean and beautiful for generations to come.

Meet Jamaica’s 2025 Junior Minister of Tourism!

Congratulations to Caleader Lewison of Hampton School, who has been officially crowned this year’s Junior Minister of Tourism! 🎉✨ The final round of the competition was held on July 15, 2025, at Sandals Ochi.

With poise, passion, and purpose, Caleader impressed the judges and earned the top spot in this year’s national competition. She and her dedicated staff advisor will proudly represent Jamaica at the CTO Youth Congress in Barbados this September 🇧🇧✈️

We’re confident she will continue to inspire and lead with excellence on the regional stage. 🌍
