Following the declaration of SOEs law abiding citizens are asked to observe strangers in gated communities, apartment complexes, quiet communities and parishes neighbouring those under the SOE. Persons operating AirBNBs are warned to be vigilant as they do business as unscrupulous persons may try to book stays at this time.

Typical displacement areas for criminals running from the SOE are gated communities and apartment complexes in upper St Andrew, or persons may migrate from Westmoreland to St Elizabeth, from St James to Trelawny, from St Catherine to St Ann.

The JDF remains committed to its support to the JCF in doing what is required to secure and safeguard Jamaica and Jamaicans. Citizens may support the SOPE by using the JDF Tip line at 876-837-8888 or the JCF Tip line at 311.

Good Night Family,

As we embark onto a new year, a new decade and a new season, I implore and encourage us that despite the challenges of 2019 that we face forward and count our BLESSINGS: BLESSINGS of life, love, peace, protection, health and favour of The Most High God who brought us through.

May we reflect and seek His guidance and wisdom to help us redefine ourselves and establish firrmly our purposes. May we endeavour to be our brothers' keeper and remember that "Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away...And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
To love our neighbours as we love ourselves.

My prayer for you is that you prosper even as your soul prospers. That you will lack no good thing. That you will have abundance of peace, love, good health, life, joy and wealth.

I pray for us the Protectors of our nation that we will endeavour to continue the fight despite the many detractors to secure Jamaica Land we Love. That we will stand for justice and truth; for justice denied one is justice denied all. That we will stand resolute in the authority we have been given to do right in the eyes of our Creator. To execute our duties always cognizant that the awesome powers we wield are for the protection and security of our peoples and our nation. I pray that we will be excellent stewards of that which we have been given. I pray for our protection on an off our jobs, for reward and recognition by our employers and proper remuneration for the sacrifices we make.

2020 is the season of the spoken word and we will eat of the fruit of our mouths. Let us endeavour to speak life, love, prosperity and peace.

One love, peace and blessings be unto you and your house. A happy and prosperous New Year and Decade.

From Your Colleague and fellow delegate
Doris Stewart-Walcott
