As Jamaica braces for Tropical Storm Melissa, the Children’s Advocate, Mrs. Diahann Godon Harrison is appealing to caregivers and all children to “exercise extreme caution and be safe in this particular time.”

In addition to reminding children not to play in the storm or hurricane, Mrs Gordon Harrison underscores the importance of being be mindful of unseen dangers such as wires and fallen lines, hidden by flood waters.
