Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is advising the public of a system outage to our Revenue Administration Information System (RAiS) eServices platform from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. today (September 4). This activity will result in our eServices facility being suspended over the period indicated.

Customers are advised that this outage will impact RAiS eServices and the Jamaica Tax Portal (JTP) services to include Property Tax, Traffic Ticket, and Fitness Fee payments.

CEO of the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC), Robert Hill, using TAJ's online service to keep current with his property tax payment at the Command Centre during the joint TAJ/KSAMC operation in Half Way Tree and surrounding areas.

The initiative is encouraging taxpayers to fulfill their property tax and Trade and Business Licence obligations, with several persons also taking advantage of the opportunity to settle their current property tax. Staying compliant means keeping your obligations up to date.

The joint operation between Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) and the Kingston & St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) is focused on strengthening compliance and supporting business owners across Half Way Tree and surrounding areas.

Mayor of Kingston and St. Andrew, Councillor Andrew Swaby, visited the team on location at the Constant Spring Arcade as they prepared to engage taxpayers and business operators and to provide information and guidance on their tax and licensing obligations.

Through collaboration and education, TAJ & KSAMC continue to work together to promote compliance and build a stronger culture of responsibility among taxpayers and businesses.
