Special education institutions were the focus of e-Learning Jamaica's 2026 Labour Day Efforts.

Through collaboration with the Jamaica Teachers' Association, Belmont Park Primary School in Portmore were provided with a smartboard, 20 tablets, laptops and other electronic devices for use in enhancing the teaching-learning process at the school.

This was amongst 4 other Labour Day projects undertaken by the two institutions, aligning with e-Learning Jamaica's mandate of providing e-Access to learning for all.

Labour Day 2026 is being celebrated under the theme : "One People, One Purpose: In All Things, Jamaica Wins."

e-Learning Jamaica Company Limited in collaboration with the Jamaica Teachers' Association distributed a number of devices to the Belmont Park Primary School in Portmore as a part of this year's Labour Day activities .

This formed a part of the collaborative efforts of the two institutions to provide well needed electronic devices to 5 special needs institutions across the island. The other beneficiaries were ; Lucea School of Hope, Woodland School of Special Education, St. Christopher's School for the Deaf and the Aligne Academy Group of Schools.

The Launch of the e-Learning Jamaica/ Linton Park Primary and Infant School Resource Centre marked a significant step towards enhancing not only teaching and learning at the institution, but also providing a valuable resource hub for families and the broader Linton Park Community.
