🚴‍♂️ 🚴🏾‍♀️ As we observe World Bicycle Day and Road Safety Awareness Month, the Jamaica Constabulary Force encourages all road users to play their part in keeping our roads safe.

Cyclists have a right to use our roads, and motorists have a duty to share them responsibly. Whether you’re behind the wheel, on a bicycle, on a motorcycle, or on foot, your decisions can make the difference between life and tragedy.

This June, let’s build a culture of courtesy, patience, and respect on our roads. Slow down, stay alert, and look out for one another.

Together, we can reduce crashes, prevent injuries, and save lives.

Members of the St Mary Police Division came together in worship and fellowship at the Port Maria New Testament Church of God for the Divisional Church Service held under the theme: “The Relentless Pursuit of Excellence Through Divine Intervention”, on Sunday, May 31.

Among those in attendance were Superintendent Anthony Wallace, Commanding Officer for the St. Mary Division and several other senior officers. In his remarks, Superintendent Wallace commended the strong and enduring partnership between the Police and the communities of St. Mary, noting that this collaboration has played a significant role in the Division’s continued successes. He emphasised the importance of the Church working alongside the Police to build safer communities. He encouraged strengthening this vital relationship as both institutions continue to serve and uplift the people of St. Mary.

The congregation was blessed with a powerful and inspiring message delivered by Corporal Anthony Harris of the St Ann Division, who also serves as a Minister of the Gospel. Drawing on Daniel 6:1-10, Minister Harris spoke passionately about the spirit of excellence found in Daniel, encouraging officers and civilians alike to remain steadfast in their faith, unwavering in their integrity, and committed to excellence in every aspect of their lives.

The service culminated with a heartfelt prayer for the officers and their families by Bishop Garnet Richards, who invoked God’s divine protection, wisdom, strength, and guidance over the members of the Division as they continue to serve and protect the people of St Mary.

The St Mary Police Division remains committed to serving with integrity, professionalism, and compassion as we continue to make St. Mary great through faith, partnership, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
