On Friday, April 23, 2010, the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) signed a Letter of Agreement to formalize the terms of a grant of a non-reimbursable technical cooperation, to support the promotion of energy efficiency, energy conservation and alternative sources of sustainable energy in Jamaica. This is for a total project cost of US$807,000, for whic

h the DBJ will contribute US$214,000 and the IDB is providing a grant to DBJ of US$593,000, to effectively cover three components.
