Scientific Research Council SRC is an ISO 9001:2015 certified agency responsible for the application of scientific R&D SRC was established by His Rt. Excellent Norman W.

Manley (former Premier and now National Hero) in 1960 with an aim to support micro, small and medium sized enterprises, especially those in the agro-processing sector. The SRC and its subsidiary Marketech Ltd. has facilitated the establishment of several businesses through training, technology transfer, analytical tests, consultancy services and access to production facilities via its food pilot p

lant and business support. Its wastewater treatment systems, for which it has a patent for the Biodigester Septic Tank (BST), has allowed access to environmentally friendly, cost effective solutions. The SRC’s NEPA approved systems allow for construction in areas that would otherwise not be permitted as it does not contaminate ground water. Marketech Limited is a very diverse and innovative entity that continues to maintain SRC’s relevance with various public initiatives. This entity provides marketing, customer service and communication support for SRC. It also provides market research and business development services for some of its clients.
