🇯🇲 When we choose Jamaican, the impact goes far beyond the product on the shelf.

As shared by Ms Kareema Muncey, Vice President, JMEA and Chief Executive Officer of Home Choice Enterprise Limited, during the Fireside Chat at Love Jamaica Fest 2026, supporting Jamaican brands also means supporting our farmers, manufacturers, suppliers and the thousands of Jamaicans whose livelihoods are connected to local industries.

For Jamaican businesses, proudly embracing our culture and identity can also be one of our greatest strengths, both at home and abroad.
Buy Jamaican. Support Jamaican. Grow Jamaica. 🇯🇲✨

Mosquitoes may be small, but they multiply FAST! 🦟⚠️

A female mosquito can lay up to 300 eggs every three days, which is why preventing mosquito breeding is so important. Simple actions like clearing stagnant water, properly covering water containers and keeping our surroundings clean can make a big difference.
Don’t give mosquitoes a place to multiply.

Fight the bite and stop them before they start!
Together, let’s build mosquito-resilient communities and promote a healthy and stable population.

Our senior citizens have helped shape the Jamaica we know today. 🇯🇲💛

From their years of experience and wisdom to their continued contributions to families, communities and the wider society, their impact on national development is invaluable.

We asked Jamaicans: How do senior citizens contribute to Jamaica’s development? Here’s what they had to say. 🎤

On World Mosquito Day, we’re reminded that fighting mosquito-borne illnesses starts with action in our homes and communities. 🦟

Under the theme “Taking Action Together: Building Mosquito Resilient Communities,” we can all play our part by eliminating breeding grounds, properly covering stored water, keeping drains and gutters clear, and protecting ourselves from mosquito bites.

Together, let’s build healthier, mosquito-resilient communities and promote a healthy and stable population.

🇯🇲 Today, we remember the life and legacy of Jamaican National Hero, the Right Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey, born August 17, 1887.

His unwavering belief in self-reliance, unity, empowerment and pride continues to inspire generations in Jamaica and around the world.

As we honour his legacy, may we continue to draw inspiration from his vision as we work together towards Jamaica’s continued development.
