The Casino Gaming Commission has officially granted Jamaica's first casino gaming operator's licence, to Adamas Grand Casino Limited. This marks a major milestone in the regulation of casino gaming in Jamaica, and the start of a new era for the industry.

Last week, our team wrapped three days of intensive Gaming Investigations Training!

From July 14–16, CGC officers, joined by colleagues from Major Organised Crime & Anti-Corruption Agency and Financial Investigations sharpened their investigative skills with international expert Tyler Burtis BURTIS INVESTIGATIONS LLC , a 20+ year veteran of the California Department of Justice.

This was another step in building the vigilant, well-trained unit Jamaica's gaming industry needs.

This week, the CGC team, alongside representatives from our partners MOCA and FID, is in intensive Gaming Investigations Training with international expert Tyler Burtis , a 20+ year veteran of the California DOJ's Bureau of Gambling Control and President of Burtis Investigations, LLC.

We're building our collective capacity to protect the integrity of Jamaica's gaming industry.

We're proud to be recognised among 14 public bodies at this year's Public Bodies' Corporate Governance Awards, hosted by the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service (MOFPS) in partnership with the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ).
