Over the past several weeks, we have shared the vision, objectives, and opportunities of the forthcoming SEZ Master Plan. Today, we conclude this sensitisation campaign with a message from CEO Kelli-Dawn Hamilton on what successful implementation could mean for Jamaica.

The Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority (JSEZA) is taking investment opportunities in Jamaica’s pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries directly to key industry stakeholders.

The Authority participated in the annual conference held by the Pharmaceutical Society of Jamaica, in collaboration with the Caribbean Association of Pharmacists, on Sunday at the Princess Grand Hotel in Hanover, under the theme, 'Pharmacists Advancing Healthcare Through Innovation, Policy and Practice'.

Debra Haughton, Senior Director, Business Partner Support Services, highlighted Jamaica’s competitive advantages for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing, research, distribution and export, including its strategic location, skilled workforce, market access and logistics infrastructure.

JSEZA also engaged prospective investors and industry stakeholders on the benefits and incentives available under the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) regime and the Authority’s role in facilitating investment and business expansion.

The engagement forms part of JSEZA’s continued efforts to position Jamaica as a competitive destination for investment in high-value industries.
