Dopo anni di lavoro sul campo, sperimentazione, confronto e partecipazione, il progetto LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors arriva alla sua conferenza finale. Un momento importante in cui una comunitร di territori, enti, amministrazioni, operatori e cittadini si ritrova per guardare a ciรฒ che รจ stato fatto e, soprattutto, a ciรฒ che da qui in avanti continuerร a essere costruito insieme.
Il convegno, aperto a tutti, si terrร il ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฒ a ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ถ presso la tensostruttura comunale in Via Principe di Napoli snc, in concomitanza con l'apertura della 29ยช Conferenza dell' International Association for Bear Research & Management
Per la prima volta in Italia, il LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors ha permesso di sperimentare concretamente su ampia scala il modello delle comunitร a misura d'orso: un percorso nel quale la conservazione non รจ stata pensata come qualcosa da realizzare sulle comunitร , ma insieme alle comunitร , anche attraverso il lavoro dei Comitati locali, che hanno riunito amministrazioni, cittadini, operatori del territorio, associazioni e aree protette.
Un percorso nel quale sono state sperimentate, codificate e rese replicabili azioni, iniziative, metodi e strumenti per la coesistenza. ๐ป
Il progetto LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors ha contribuito a creare le condizioni affinchรฉ questo potesse accadere. Ma il lavoro non finisce con la conclusione del progetto. Al contrario, รจ proprio grazie a quanto costruito in questi anni che oggi รจ possibile lanciare un programma di lungo periodo, capace di consolidare il percorso avviato, rafforzare la governance locale e dare continuitร al lavoro delle Comunitร e dei Comitati.
La conferenza sarร articolata in due fasi:

Un momento di restituzione alle comunitร locali e al pubblico per raccontare il percorso compiuto, le azioni realizzate, gli strumenti sviluppati e ciรฒ che รจ stato costruito insieme.

Un confronto aperto sul futuro delle comunitร a misura d'orso, sul ruolo dei Comitati, sulle sfide della coesistenza e sulle prospettive del nuovo programma di lungo periodo, con la partecipazione del Ministero, delle Regioni e dei partner di progetto.
Un impegno, quindi, che va oltre i doveri istituzionali e che i partner di questa iniziativa hanno trasformato in un percorso concreto per il benessere di interi territori dell'Appennino centrale.

After years of fieldwork, experimentation, dialogue and participation, the LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors project reaches its final conference. An important moment, in which a community of territories, institutions, local authorities, land users and residents comes together to look at what has been done and, above all, at what will continue to be built together from here on.
The conference is open to all and will be held on ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ in ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ถ, at the municipal marquee in Via Principe di Napoli snc, alongside the opening of the 29th Conference of the International Association for Bear Research & Management
For the first time in Italy, LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors has made it possible to test the bear-smart communities model in practice and at scale: a process in which conservation was not conceived as something to be carried out on communities, but with them, not least through the work of the local Committees, which brought together administrations, residents, local operators, associations and protected areas.
A process in which actions, initiatives, methods and tools for coexistence have been tested, codified and made replicable. ๐ป
The LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors project helped create the conditions for this to happen. But the work does not end with the project. On the contrary, it is precisely because of what has been built over these years that a long-term programme can now be launched: one able to consolidate the process already under way, strengthen local governance and give continuity to the work of the Communities and the Committees.
The conference will be structured in two parts:

A commitment, then, that goes beyond institutional duty, and one that the partners in this initiative have turned into concrete work for the wellbeing of entire areas of the central Apennines.
