Heroes pass and the world needs living heroes to replace them. The admired men of the past become giants and become legends. They cross into time and memory. Can we replace them? We have to start somewhere and so we must ask, have we done something to make the world a better place? Will a young boy one day look at old pictures of us and be inspired to get out of the daily routine of his young life and aspire to do something exemplary? We should hope so. Every man should try and live a noble life and continue to do so until he finally passes on. One day some of us will understand that life is more than money or fame, and it is about using our experiences gleaned from our past, and sharing it in viable ways with people in it now in order to enrich all of our futures; it takes work, risk taking and self-sacrifice. Make your self ready to handle whatever trouble comes the world’s way.
