Our Story
Il Rifugio è situato a Gorino Sullam nel cuore naturalistico del Parco del Delta del Po, in un villaggio di pescatori, nelle vicinanze di una spiaggia selvaggia, della Sacca di Scardovari e dell’Oasi di Ca’ Mello.
È il punto d’appoggio perfetto per una vacanza “slow” e “green” alla scoperta di ambienti caratteristici come dune fossili, fiumi e golene, valli, lagune e canneti e di una grande varietà di uccelli acquatici, che trovano qui il loro habitat ideale.
Il Rifugio offre premura e professionalità grazie anche all'attento lavoro di "ragazzi speciali". Ha infatti tra le sue priorità l'inserimento lavorativo di "persone speciali" le quali, nonostante le disabilità, con tempi e metodi adatti, si rivelano abili a portare a termine i loro compiti.
La struttura dispone di 32 posti letto suddivisi in 9 camere da 2 fino a 6 posti, ognuna con servizi in camera.Il Rifugio ha ampi spazi esterni immersi nel verde: è possibile cuocere pane e pizze nel forno a legna, passare momenti di convivialità, o semplicemente concedersi un momento di relaxtra gli alberi o sotto l’arioso portico.
The Hostel is close to the sea and to unspoilt beaches. They are placed just inside the wonderful Po Delta Natural Park where the Po River flows into the Adriatic Sea and they are less than one hour’s drive from Venice, Padua, Ravenna and Ferrara. They are perfectly located for visiting the beautiful and natural environments of the Park: beaches, lagoons, rivers and lands where you can find fishing spots, roof terraces for birdwatching, unique plants and flowers. You can move around on foot, by bike, by boat or riding a horse or a donkey to visit the territory slowly and enjoy the typical local food and wine. You'll meet people who can tell you the ancient history of this land torn to the sea by the Republic of Venice more than 500 years ago.
WELCOME
The Hostel Natura Delta Po consists in 2 different structures: the newest one with 9 rooms (from 2 to 6 beds), and the oldest one, recently renovated, with 8 rooms (from 4 to 10 beds). All rooms with private bathroom. The structure is deeped in the nature with adjoining dock for boats.
