We were pleased to welcome , our new partner for the Portuguese funeral market, to Spencer headquarters yesterday.

INTERSCHUTZ is almost over, but the conversations continue.
Over the past week, our teams from Spencer, , and had the opportunity to meet firefighters, rescue professionals, trainers, distributors and emergency services from around the world, exchanging ideas, experiences and perspectives on the future of emergency response.
Those conversations reinforced something we strongly believe in: effective rescue operations are built on more than individual products. They depend on equipment, procedures and people working together when it matters most.
From rescue preparedness and first aid to patient handling, transport and training, each of our brands contributes to the same mission of supporting emergency professionals in the field.

In 𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐒 and technical rescue scenarios, the first challenge is often access: slopes, woods, uneven ground, limited space and equipment that must be carried, organised and ready at the right moment.

This is where | X-CEN-TEK GmbH & Co. KG equipment becomes relevant.

🧗 During the HEMS Base course in Massa (Italy) last weekend, PAX backpacks and patient recovery solutions were used in a real training context, supporting rescuers during the approach, preparation and management of equipment in difficult terrain.

⚙️ Based in Germany, PAX develops professional bags, backpacks and transport systems for emergency and rescue teams, with a clear focus on organisation, durability and field usability.

⛑️ In technical rescue, this is not a secondary detail. When the environment is complex, the way equipment is carried, protected and accessed can influence the efficiency of the whole intervention.

⏩ As part of our group, PAX allows us to support rescue and EMS professionals beyond patient transport alone. At RETTmobil, we presented our latest developments for rescue teams: the new Agile and Star-K stretchers, along with a new concept of transport chair. Each product was designed with practical needs in mind: easier handling, safer patient transport, and better support in complex rescue scenarios.
