🚀 La posizione EBC sulla VET Strategy (Vocational Education and Training), in materia di istruzione e formazione professionale.
🚀 EBC position paper on the European Strategy: No skills without SMEs, a VET Strategy for construction
and micro companies play a key role in and at local level, representing 99% of all companies in the sector in the .
For that reason, EBC outlines four policy to strengthen vocational education and in construction and better support SMEs:
🟦 Strengthen alignment with needs through flexible VET provision and social partner cooperation
🟨 Enhance the and of VET in construction
🟦 Support SME-friendly in VET to support the transitions in the construction sector
🟨 Make VET a priority in the 2028-2034 Multiannual Financial Framework ( )
EBC President Jean Christophe Repon stated: “As an electrician and having spent time leading France’s joint training institutes, I know that construction will need to recruit on a massive scale in the years ahead. Rising to that challenge means being ever more performant in training and the attractiveness of our trades, starting with a VET system that works for the local SMEs training and employing people across the sector. Training must reflect their realities and changing skills needs, and construction careers must be promoted as a first choice - offering quality education to young people, women and new talent”.
