Imparare una lingua straniera non significa solo studiare regole e parole: significa comunicare, confrontarsi e sentirsi più sicuri nello studio, nel lavoro, nei viaggi e nelle esperienze di ogni giorno. 🌍

Con oltre 50 anni di esperienza e un team di docenti madrelingua e qualificati, IRSE propone veri e propri laboratori linguistici: percorsi pratici, stimolanti e coinvolgenti, pensati per accompagnare ogni età e ogni fase dell’apprendimento.

👶 Per i più piccoli: gioco, musica e creatività per scoprire l’inglese in modo naturale e divertente.

🎒 Per ragazze e ragazzi delle scuole medie: attività interattive, conversazione, contenuti multimediali, lavori di gruppo e role playing per consolidare le basi e acquisire maggiore sicurezza.

🇬🇧 Una giornata speciale, tra lingua inglese, cultura e nuove amicizie.

Sabato abbiamo percorso insieme le antiche strade del Friuli Occidentale, visitando Spilimbergo, con la sua straordinaria Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, e l'Antico Mulino Maiaroff di Arzene.

Un grazie speciale ad Alice Sannia, che con competenza, entusiasmo e simpatia ci ha accompagnati in un percorso interamente in lingua inglese, e a Elena dell'Antico Mulino Maiaroff, per la calorosa accoglienza e per averci fatto conoscere un luogo ricco di storia, memoria e tradizioni.

Ma il grazie più grande va a tutti i partecipanti, che con curiosità, entusiasmo e voglia di mettersi in gioco hanno reso questa esperienza ancora più bella. ❤️

💙 Some journeys become even more meaningful when shared.

Edoardo Rubino (Italy, 23) and Maryam Barjesteh (the Netherlands, 22) already knew each other from university in the Netherlands when they applied together to CuriosiFVG 2024. With their outstanding profiles, they were both selected to join the international group of young professionals taking part in the project.

Their journey through Friuli Venezia Giulia became one more beautiful chapter in a story that began before CuriosiFVG—and continued, wonderfully, all the way to Catania.

On Thursday, 2 July 2026, they got married. 💍

Every journey ends with a story to remember ✨📖

The final evening of CuriosiFVG 2026 was a moment to look back, share emotions, and celebrate two unforgettable weeks across Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The event was moderated by Eleonora Boscariol, IRSE Project Manager, with the support of CuriosiFVG tutors Beatrice Manicone and Piero Dal Poz.

We were honoured to welcome Chiara Polesel, member of board IRSE, whose words reflected the Institute's long-standing commitment to international dialogue, cultural exchange, and lifelong learning. Joining her was Mauro Verona, Vice President of Bcc Pordenonese e Monsile, whose support highlighted the cooperative bank's belief that investing in young people, cultural initiatives, and the exchange of ideas helps build stronger, more connected communities.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Emilia from Switzerland, Thomas from Greece, Josie from Germany, and Bart from Poland shared their reflections in Italian, giving voice to the experiences, discoveries, and connections built by all 20 participants.

To close the evening, we watched the aftermovie created by Virginia, Glenda, and Tommaso: a moving recap of the people, places, and moments that made this journey so special.

One last evening together, one final toast to new friendships, shared memories, and an incredible experience lived side by side.

To our CuriosiFVG participants: thank you for your curiosity, kindness, and enthusiasm. We wish each of you the very best, hoping you'll carry a little piece of Friuli Venezia Giulia - and of one another - wherever your journey takes you next. 🌍💚

🗺️ A journey ends. 💡 An idea remains.

Yesterday, on the final day of CuriosiFVG 2026, participants took part in a workshop led by Giovanna Tosetto, bringing together everything they had learned and experienced over the previous two weeks.

Working in teams, they designed and refined two tourism itineraries for the city of Pordenone, combining fresh perspectives, local discoveries, and the insights gained throughout the project.

The final document they produced is more than the outcome of a workshop: it is a gift to the city 🎁, a collection of ideas created by 20 young professionals from across Europe, inspired by what they experienced in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

We hope these proposals can become a source of inspiration for Pordenone as it prepares to welcome visitors as the Italian Capital of Culture 2027 Pordenone 2027.

Because the best journeys don’t just leave memories, they leave ideas for the future.

🌿🏙️ How can cities become more sustainable, liveable, and connected to nature?
📍 Pordenone... Green!

Today, the CuriosiFVG participants explored this question from both a global and a local perspective.

The day began with the conference Urban Regeneration, organized by Consorzio Universitario Pordenone Unipordenone, where international architects and designers shared ideas, projects, and visions for the future of cities and public spaces.

In the afternoon, participants discovered another side of Pordenone’s identity: its network of rivers, waterways, and green spaces. Guided by Riccardo Rizzetto - Eupolis Studio Associato Eupolis, they explored how nature shapes the city and contributes to its quality of life, offering a valuable example of the relationship between urban development and environmental sustainability.

As Pordenone prepares for its role as Italian Capital of Culture 2027, these places reveal how culture can also be found in the way a city is designed, experienced, and shared.

🎨🍷🎶 A journey through art, heritage, flavours, and music.
📍 Valvasone & Spilimbergo

Yesterday, the CuriosiFVG participants explored some of the cultural treasures of western Friuli, discovering how creativity takes many different forms across the region.

📍 The afternoon began in Valvasone, one of Italy's most beautiful historic villages, where centuries of history are preserved within its streets, architecture, and traditions.

📍 In Spilimbergo Vivi Spilimbergo- Ufficio Turistico, participants visited the world-renowned Mosaic School Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, where an ancient art continues to evolve through innovation and international exchange.

The experience continued among the vineyards of Cantine Pitars, where local wines told the story of a territory shaped by passion, landscape, and generations of knowledge.

The day ended with a different kind of cultural experience: live music at the Spililand Summer Festival, featuring Tre allegri ragazzi morti, the most iconic band from Pordenone and Friuli Venezia Giulia!

From mosaics to music, from historic villages to local wines, today's journey celebrated the many expressions of culture that make this region unique 🥂🏞💚
