Installation Training Exercise – September 9, 2026​

Please be advised that NSA Naples will conduct an installation training exercise on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 0900 to 1200 at Support Site, primarily in and around Building 2072 B, the Navy Lodge, and the Village Forum.​

During this time, community members may observe increased Security and emergency response activity, as well as hear simulated gunfire and blast sounds. Personnel, residents, and visitors are asked to avoid the immediate exercise area; no road closures are planned, though localized traffic may be temporarily affected. Report any real-world suspicious activity immediately to 911.​

NSA Naples routinely conducts these exercises to maintain operational readiness, evaluate emergency procedures, and ensure the safety, security, and well-being of our community.

Transition from AtHoc to ALERT! – Effective August 31, 2026​

NSA Naples will transition emergency notifications from AtHoc to the new ALERT! system on August 31, 2026, ahead of AtHoc's sunset on October 1, 2026.​

To ensure you receive critical safety alerts, all personnel must register on the new platform:​
- Go to the Alert! Client Dashboard at https://dod.alert.mil.​
- Add all contact modes (emails, Teams, work/home phones). Ensure all phone types are labeled appropriately, text-capable phones are marked "Receives Text Messages". Shared phones can be added (though responses are not recorded).​
- Add your Military Location Association where you support the USN (and Army/USMC locations if applicable) and click "Save". Command Structure/UIC details will follow in 4QFY26.​
