💥 One mine can disrupt an entire waterway. One Alliance can clear the path.

During , a Lithuanian boarding team assigned to BALTRON conducted a mine countermeasures exercise aboard Lithuanian Naval Force Hunt-class mine countermeasures vessel LNS Skalvis (M 53), sharpening the skills needed to locate, identify, and eliminate mine threats lurking beneath the surface.

Mine warfare remains a critical mission for the free navigation of the Baltic Sea. Training together ensures Allied forces can keep vital sea lanes open, secure, and ready for operations whenever and wherever they’re needed.
