Ambassadors for change: a journey that continues.

For Unidro, addressing gender-based violence is not a one-off initiative, but a long-term commitment built over time.

In 2024, we launched our journey with Libellula, training our first Ambassadors against gender-based violence. An important step, which we deliberately chose to strengthen again this year.

In 2025, we completed a second training cycle, expanding our internal community of Ambassadors with the involvement of Francesca Rota and Graziella Caroli. Giovanni Carrino and Andrea Bezzon also obtained the certification for the second-level Ambassador programme.

A structured programme designed to provide practical tools, awareness and listening skills, and to foster increasingly safe, inclusive and responsible working environments.

Ambassadors are colleagues who:

🔹 actively promote the values of equity and respect

🔹 help identify situations of vulnerability

🔹 contribute to building a shared culture, both inside and outside the company

Because gender-based violence is not a private matter.
It is a collective responsibility. And as a company, we choose to take an active role.

The World Environment Day (WED) has been celebrated every June 5 since 1974, proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly with the slogan “Only One Earth.”

A day to raise awareness and encourage action to protect the environment, it focuses on a different issue each year. This year, the spotlight is given to restoring soils and ecosystems, reducing desertification and plastic pollution, under the motto of “We are GenerationRestoration”.

Sustainable management of water resources is crucial to ensure the availability of clean water for present and future generations and to preserve biodiversity. Protecting water sources, reducing water waste, and also recovering and reusing water, including in industry, are key steps to preserving this precious asset.

A few days ago, a huge Column Condensing Tower produced for the Enefit 280-2 Shale Oil Plant project left Unidro's workshop to reach the port of Marghera, near Venice. From there it will sail to the installation plant in Estonia.
The unit that will be part of the Oil Condensation Plant has giant dimensions: at 85 tons and ø3.3m x 34m(length), its production turned out to be a demonstration of the capability and flexibility that has always characterized Unidro and its outstanding specialized Team.

Every year, on June 17 is the World Day against Desertification and Drought, an event created by the United Nations 26 years ago to celebrate global efforts to stop land degradation, an issue that affects everyone and threatens our health and future.
