Attraverso un ciclo di tre incontri, “Crisis of Nature(s)” intende esplorare le differenti declinazioni della crisi ecologica in corso, il loro rapporto con il capitalismo, e le possibilità d’azione che ne derivano.
17/05: Frédéric Monferrand, autore del recente saggio “La nature du capital. Politique et ontologie chez le jeune Marx” (Éditions Amsterdam, 2024), ci parlerà dell’ontologia della natura nel Marx dei “Manoscritti del 1844”.
03/06: Con Matthew T. Huber, autore di “Climate Change as Class War. Building Socialism in a Warming Planet” (Verso, 2022), discuteremo del rapporto tra cambiamento climatico e
lotta di classe all’interno della congiuntura contemporanea.
11/06: Con Marco Maurizi, autore di numerosi saggi sull’Antispecismo politico e la questione animale, si discuterà della possibilità di un rapporto non antropocentrico alla questione dello sfruttamento animale e del rapporto tra questa e il modo di produzione capitalistico.

Through a series of three sessions, "Crisis of Nature(s)" aims to explore the various manifestations of the ongoing ecological crisis, their relationship with capitalism, and the potential courses of action that arise from it.
17/05: Frédéric Monferrand, author of the recent essay "La nature du capital. Politique et ontologie chez le jeune Marx" (Éditions Amsterdam, 2024), will discuss the ontology of nature in Marx's "Manuscripts of 1844."
03/06: Matthew T. Huber, author of "Climate Change as Class War. Building Socialism in a Warming Planet" (Verso, 2022), will lead a discussion on the relationship between climate change and class struggle within the contemporary context.
11/06: Marco Maurizi, author of numerous essays on Political Antispecism and the animal question, will examine the possibility of a non-anthropocentric approach to the issue of animal exploitation and its relationship with the capitalist mode of production.
