🇨🇳 Xinshi — city of water and stone bridges

Xinshi Ancient Town is located in Zhejiang Province, China. Founded over 1,000 years ago, it developed during the Song Dynasty. More than 20 stone bridges connect its canal-lined streets.

The buildings feature Ming and Qing architectural styles — white walls, dark tile roofs, and wooden balconies. The town center is protected as a cultural heritage site.

Xinshi retains its traditional way of life: local markets, tea houses, and boat transportation are still active.

📍Chapada Diamantina National Park, Brazil

Chapada Diamantina National Park (Portuguese: Parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina) is a protected area in the interior of Bahia, Brazil. Created in 1985, it preserves 1,520 km² of the Serra do Sincorá plateau, where waterfalls, canyons, and caves form one of the country’s most celebrated ecotourism destinations. The park anchors the larger Chapada Diamantina region, a biodiversity hotspot bridging Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, and Caatinga biomes.
